Reiki is an energy treatment which replaces lost energy and restores the body's natural energy balance
Your body works at it's optimum efficiency when energy runs freely through it. Every day you use this energy and it may also become blocked causing areas of concentrated/depleted energy, and ill health. Reiki 'tops-up' your energy levels and frees blockages, balancing levels and helping you maintain good health & well-being
Reiki can speed recovery, reduce pain, boost the immune system, calm anxiety and a stressed mind and body and increase feelings of vitality and well-being
Reiki has now been introduced into the NHS Directory of Complimentary & Alternative Therapies (CAM) which has been produced by the NHS Trusts Association (NHSTA) The Leading Professional Association for Primary Care in the UK
Reiki treats the whole body working on all levels, flowing to where it is needed. Reiki is safe for everyone of any age, level of fitness and well-being
Reiki is a hands-on treatment and the client may feel warmth, tingling and cold as the therapist's hands are placed in a sequence of key positions on the body, not necessarily where the hands are held
The client should experience a deep feeling of calm, relaxation and comfort and may sometimes fall asleep during treatment. It is often said that a full Reiki treatment is equivalent to 3 or 4 hours deep sleep
Reiki is usually performed with the client lying on the treatment table but the client may sit in a chair if preferred
The client remains fully clothed but will be asked to remove their shoes
Everyone's experience of Reiki is unique as is the individual, every time
There is a short consultation at the beginning of the session
1 hour treatment £30.00
Following an initial full hour Reiki Treatment Clients may wish to continue with hourly sessions or they can choose to have shorter sessions
30 min treatment £20.00
If you have trained in Reiki but have not Practiced for a while you are welcome to book in with me for Attunements at your 'Level' and have a session tailored to meet your needs...
